ABOUT ANNA
Our Sound Journey
Anna Skelton started as a vinyl DJ in the nineties and grew up on rave tapes and vinyl culture in London and Leeds. She first started playing out in Old Street, London and did various backstage parties for MTV, Channel 4 Television and The BBC, where she worked for many years. More recently Anna prefers to travel with her memory stick to DJ and run Sound Healing Teacher Trainings in places like Koh Phangan, Burning Man, Goa, Ibiza and Mallorca.
In 2013, Anna decided to get out of the rat race of marketing for television. She discovered The Gong, an incredible Sound Healing instrument, which she then went on to teach internationally and run her own retreat centre in Mallorca ,Spain for seven years..
During Covid she future proofed the business and created GONG INTERNATIONAL and THE GONG BUSINESS SCHOOL - an online platform teaching you everything you need to know to set up your own thriving Sound Healing Business.
GONG & BEATS is a brand new concept Anna has developed, merging Gong and House Music together. She is passionate about Deep House and believes there is a synergy between Sound Meditation and Dancing to Deep and Uplifting House music. She likes to take people on a magical journey with sound.
Anna also plays out Deep House, Melodic House, Progressive House and House Classics for parties, clubs and events.
